what to expect
Sunday mornings at Thad’s are very informal. We wear clothes that we are comfortable in, we play music that we like, we do our best to create a place that people feel welcome and at home.
We meet in the Jazz Bakery, a non-profit jazz venue in the old Helms Bakery District located in Culver City, California. On Sunday mornings, we move in for a few hours to explore God’s immediate presence in a place where the icons on the walls happen to be Billie Holiday and John Coltrane.
We provide childcare for babies in our Tiny Thad’s nursery. Our Thadito’s program is for kids. Teenagers are welcome in our regular worship service. If you want to bring your little ones in as well, we love having them. It’s your choice.
We are blessed to be in a location where parking is plentiful. There are numerous lots surrounding us in the Helms Bakery district along with plentiful street parking on Washington Blvd. and Venice Blvd.
