Thad's Mission Trip to Renguti, Kenya

A group of people from Thad's is traveling to Kenya to help in the construction of a preschool and the development of a school system in the Renguti area just outside of Nairobi. Music at Thad’s

Music at Thad’s is essential to our worship service and has been very influential in the growth of our community. Original songs written by our musical bon-vivant, Hunter Perrin, and singer/songwriter, Ian Jack, blend rockabilly, rhythm and blues, soul and American gospel.

It’s a new kind of hymnal. It’s music that works as well on Saturday night as it does on Sunday morning.

What Is Thad's?

We're a movement of missionary people who've made a choice to leave the relative safety of the established church and take the love of Jesus "to the streets". Our calling is to bring this transforming love into people's lives in positive, transformative and practical ways.

In church-speak, we're a "mission station", an experimental community of the Episcopal diocese of Los Angeles.
